We HIGHLY recommend patients wear a mask when inside our office.
Please DO NOT come inside if you are sick or have COVID symptoms.
Instead, we ask that you CHECK-IN or PICK UP PRESCRIPTIONS from your car by calling the office - 864-965-9150
We highly recommend patients get vaccinated.
DHEC data shows 90% of COVID cases and deaths are individuals who are unvaccinated.
We have rapid tests available at our office. Rapid tests are done via car visit.
Rapid testing is done when:
A person with symptoms for a day or more: test NOW
Exposure of fully VACCINATED person WITHOUT symptoms: test 3-5 days after exposure
Exposure of an UNVACCINATED person WITHOUT symptoms: test 5-7 days after exposure
Isolate for 10 days from the first day symptoms appeared AND you are fever-free with improving symptoms. Be aware that taste and smell can last longer than other symptoms.
Exposed Fully Vaccinated Without Symptoms
No quarantine time. Wear a mask for 14 days and social distance until tested. Test 3-5 days after exposure with a PCR test.
If negative you can choose to stop wearing a mask but masks are highly recommended.
If positive isolate for 10 days from exposure
Exposed NOT Vaccinated Without Symptoms
Quarantine 14 days from exposure. Test with a PCR test on day 5 from exposure.
If negative, stop quarantine on day 7 from exposure if no symptoms.
If positive, quarantine until day 10 from exposure.
Currently, patients on immunosuppressed drugs (high dose, long-term steroids) are recommended for boosters at least 28 days after their 2nd COVID vaccine.
Expect to see more information on booster dosing for the general population soon.
Currently, there is a recall on Phillips Respironics Sleep and Respiratory Care devices. This recall affects almost all units produced by Phillips.
Unfortunately, our office is unable to help patients with their recalled products, but you can reach out to Phillips directly by filling out a form to submit your information. For device registration and more information visit the link below.
Flu shots will be available soon for our patients. Ask your provider about the best time for you to schedule your flu shot.
