Business Manager
The Business Manager position is a critical role for our practice. This position supports a wide range of functions by performing administrative duties, overseeing daily non-clinical operations, and the patient flow of the practice.

Job Responsibilities

Oversee the completion of various administrative tasks within a medical office.

Supervise office staff and other employees.

Coordinate work schedules and organize employee/Provider PTO.

Resolve employee and client issues.
-
Ensure the work facility is safe, free of security issues, and in compliance with all government regulations.

Maintain practice books as well as submit payroll.

Work with outside vendors to maintain necessary business supplies.

Establish a warm and welcoming environment for patients and staff.

Maintain a good working relationship with executives and other managers.

Organize and conduct office meetings.

Provide informative material for patients.

Hire new staff and complete all associated paperwork/tasks.

Maintain a calm and professional demeanor with patients.

Show compassion and grace when necessary.
Skills & Qualifications
Proven work experience as a medical office manager
Knowledge of accounting, data and administrative processes and principles
Ability to handle medical records discreetly
Knowledge of medical issues and terminology
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to multi-task and perform well in stressful situations
Communication skills and a customer service orientation
Strong leadership skills
Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Proficient computer skills – QuickBooks and Excel
Ability to create work schedules

Education + Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is preferred

Business management experience is preferred, but not required

Experience in a medical setting is preferred as well

Monday - Thursday 8:45 am - 5:00 pm
