Medical Receptionist
We are searching for an experienced Medical Receptionist who can take over the front office responsibilities. We are looking for someone who is attentive to detail and understands the value of compassionate service.

Job Responsibilities

Serve patients by greeting and helping them, scheduling appointments, and maintaining paperwork and records.

Warmly welcome patients and visitors in person or on the phone.

Maintain the daily schedule.

Prepare for the next day or week.
-
Notify nurses of patient’s arrival and check-in.

Document cancelations, or no-shows.
-
Schedule Establish Care and Follow-up visits.

Obtain all necessary paperwork at patients’ initial visit and annually as appropriate.

Answer general patient questions and maintain the reception area.

Retrieve patient medical records to ensure proper coordination of care.

Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.

Protect patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information.

Efficiently and accurately take refill requests and clinical questions from patients and send them to the appropriate nurse.

Consistently execute a workflow and have a protocol for certain tasks

Efficiently document communication with patients

Be able to take payments, update payment information, and answer general billing questions.

Complete medical records requests.

Qualifications + Requirements:

Bachelor's degree preferred, but high school diploma accepted with some college or equivalent experience

Previous experience in a medical office setting

Knowledge of spreadsheets and word processing documents

Monday - Thursday 8:45 am - 5:00 pm

Lunch from 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm
